Week 1: Art Adventurers (June 24-28)

art camp

This is the week creativity comes alive! Leave the pretty dresses and sport coats at home, and let’s get messy! We’ll explore art that explodes with color, paint with our feet, make masterpiece self-portraits, and more. Our art camp includes more variety than you can imagine. We will enjoy processed-based projects where the kids explore unusual methods and mediums, as well as projects where they’ll learn how to follow a step by step plan (with plenty of individuality of course!). They’ll create tons of projects to take home, as well as large collaborative projects, developing teamwork and communication skills.

Week 2: Under the Sea (July 1-5) (4-day week)

Ocean summer camp

Swim on over for this magical journey into the deep. Deep fun that is! Campers can expect tons of water play, engaging art, underwater stories, splashy science, exciting crafts, and so much more! It’ll be a cool week of fun while learning about marine ecosystems, sea animals, plants, tides, and fish. You won’t want to miss this deep blue adventure that will last the whole week long.

Week 3: Natural Wonders (July 8-12)

There’s so much to see in our beautiful world. In this fun filled week, we’ll discover just how wonderful it can be too! From day camping to planting gardens, from making nature-based art to imaginative out-door adventures, from digging for fossils to outdoor read aloud, this week is all about exploring our environments and creativity. If your child didn’t love nature before, they will now!

Week 4: Savory, Sweet and Oh So Neat (July 15-19)

This week we extend an invitation to young, aspiring chefs in this fun-filled cooking camp. We’ll learn about measuring, healthy eating, recipes, and teamwork! Perfect for picky eaters and food lovers alike, we can accommodate vegan and most other specific diets, as well as work around food allergies. Awesome activities include exploring foods from other areas and cultures, taste testing, and make delicious (and healthy) meals and snacks, tempting to even the pickiest eaters!

Week 5: Ooey Gooey Science Fun (July 22-26)

Your child is sure to have an explosive time as we explore things that pop, hop and fly! Leave the fancy clothes at home; this camp will explore hands-on science projects and experiments, including Obleck, gack, slime, erupting volcanoes, and everything your budding mad scientist could possibly want! This interactive camp is sure to delight as well as teach. From artistic science techniques to hands on activities, this week is not to be missed!

Week 6: Around the World (July 29-August 2)

Get your passports ready! In this popular camp, we have a great time learning about people and places all over the world. From games played in Africa, to foods made in Europe, to the animals of the Arctic, and music from all over the world, there’s no shortage of fun and engaging ways to explore people, places and culture. This camp is wonderful for promoting understanding and empathy for our fellow people of the world.

Week 7: Music To My Ears! (August 5-9)

music-camp

Music is so much more than a form of art and self expression; studies show that music in early education helps lay a foundation for language development, strong memory, coordination, math skills and self confidence! During this camp, the kids will explore a variety of instruments and learn new songs. They’ll learn how to follow and create rhythms and beats, from singalongs to jazz, nursery classics to country, dance music to international hits, and even end the week with a sweet little performance!

Week 8: Aqua Adventure (August 12-16)
