Explore Our Kindergarten Program

In our Kindergarten program our students and teachers work together to create a safe, nurturing environment that fosters respect, responsibility, creativity and individuality both in the classroom and on the playground. Our small class sizes provide lots of opportunity for one on one instruction as well as the opportunity to dive deeper into certain units throughout the year. Using project-based and hands-on learning techniques, we balance literacy, math, science and social studies to create a fun and exciting curriculum our students love.

Join us for our Kindergarten and Elementary Information Night on Thursday, May 9th, 2019 at 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Meet our teachers, learn about our curriculum, ask questions and see our school and playground. Now enrolling for Fall semester. Please RSVP below.

Little Acorns Grow is Adding 4th and 5th Grade

Little Acorns Grow is excited to announce we will be expanding our elementary program to include TK through 5th grade. The expansion will happen gradually. We will be adding 4th grade starting the Fall of 2019 and adding 5th grade in the Fall of 2020. We are committed to providing a complete and well-rounded education in every grade level, preparing our students for the challenges of middle school. 

We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2019.

Our 1st to 5th Grade Curriculum

Our mixed grade elementary class utilizes individual learning plans, giving our teachers the opportunity to work with each student at his or her level. Using project-based learning, each grade level is given its own parameters to challenge each student accordingly. Integrating art and creativity when possible, our curriculum builds on current California standards.

2018 Preschool Open Houses

Open house for prospective preschool parents – Come enjoy a free enrichment class with your little one at Little Acorns Grow! Best suited for ages 2-4. Enjoy a fun class, learn more about our school, talk to our teachers and play on our organic playground after the class. Bring a friend! Space is limited. RSVP required.

Donate to Our 2017 Fall Silent Auction

Little Acorns Grow is seeking donations for our 2017 Fall Silent Auction. This event is online and it is our biggest fundraiser of the year! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to market your business to our community.

Funds raised from the auction will be used to enhance the learning and play environments at Little Acorns Grow, challenging our children to further develop their physical, social, and academic skills. Your donation is greatly appreciated.

The auction will take place on our Little Acorns Grow website from November 6-19, 2017 and promoted through our social media outlets and email list.

What an incredible summer it has been. Here’s a look back at all our themed weeks of the 2017 Summer Camps!

 

Art, music, inventions, pirates, and so much fun the kids won’t even know they’re learning!

Little Acorns Grow Reseda Elementary is offering a variety of fun Summer camps for kids ages 4 through 8. Mix and match any of our one-week specialty camps or sign-up for our monthly camps (4 continuous weeks). Whatever your child’s interests are, you’re sure to find them here. We sold out last summer so make sure you sign up early!
